Eating for two

In 2008 Renee Boland and her supervisor, School of Midwifery lecturer Megan Gibbons, gained a Health Research Council scholarship to explore how much it would cost for a woman to abide by the Ministry of Health’s ‘Good and nutrition guidelines for healthy pregnant and breastfeeding women’. The results of their research was published in the New Zealand College of Midwives Journal.
